Katherine Jean Bolduan, professionally known as
Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist and news anchor who has worked for CNN and CNN International since 2007. She graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in journalism from George Washington University and began her journalism career with CNN in the same year. She is best known as the anchor for the State of America with Kate Bolduan and At This Hour with Kate Bolduan news shows.
Kate Bolduan was born on 28 July 1983 in Goshen, Indiana, United States. Her father, Dr. Jeffrey Bolduan, is of Native American (Hoosier) descent, while her mother, Nadine Bolduan, is of Belgian heritage. She shares a mixed American-Belgian ethnicity. Kate Bolduan has never disclosed her religious faith; however, according to sources, she predominantly follows Judaism but is also very close to the Christian faith.
Regarding Kate Bolduan's language and communication skills, she is multilingual; primarily, she speaks English, although she is proficient in Arabic, French, and Spanish. She also speaks Norwegian, Portuguese, Egyptian, and Uzbek but has never disclosed her proficiency in these languages.
