Dholera City or Dholera Town
Dholera is a town in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat, India, which was once an ancient port city in the Gulf of Khambhat. It is situated in a low-lying area, making it susceptible to flooding.

According to Wikipedia, In January 2021 a monorail project to link Ahmedabad and the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) was approved. The ₹60 billion (US$720 million) Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) will run parallel to the expressway and have seventy stations.
The Gujarat Government has proposed a new international airport for Ahmedabad city at Fedara. This airport is planned to be strategically located near the Adani Group's planned SEZ project at Dholera. Although a new seaport was initially proposed, the plans have since been abandoned.
Dholera Smart City Plan
Since 2011, the Gujarat Government has been planning to develop a smart city in the Bhal area. However, farmer organizations have raised concerns about the project's economic feasibility.
Several investors who initially signed the Memorandum of Understanding to fund the project have since withdrawn and declined to invest.
