What is the full syllabus & exam pattern of AMCAT

AMCAT Exam Pattern

In the AMCAT exam, there are certain modules that are compulsory for everyone like Language and Aptitude Modules, whereas others are optional. During the test, candidates will be given an option to select any two domain-specific modules. It is recommended that the candidates go through the module description and befitting job profiles before they go to take the AMCAT.

The candidate's choice of modules increases your visibility for particular kinds of jobs, for instance, if the candidates take the Programming Module then will be visible to more IT companies whereas taking an HR module will help to find HR profiles. Actually, the best way is to go through the module list and decide which optional modules you would like to take.

English

The English module evaluates written English skills and is aimed at determining the candidate"s ability to understand:

  • The ability to communicate effectively through written documents

  • Vocabulary: Synonyms, Antonyms, Contextual Vocabulary

Quantitative Ability

The Quantitative Ability module is ideal to evaluate the numerical ability of an individual and is available in both technical and non-technical flavor.

Logical Ability

The Logical Ability module assesses the capacity of an individual to interpret things objectively, to be able to perceive and interpret trends to make generalizations, and be able to analyze assumptions behind an argument/statement.

Aspiring Minds Personality Inventory

This module does an overall personality assessment of the candidate and is used to assess candidates in people-interaction and people-management roles.

The module checks how thorough a candidate is in accomplishing a task with concern for all the aspects involved, no matter how small.
