Mark Cuban was born on born 31 July 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. He is an American businessman, film producer, investor, and television personality.
He previously owned the Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association (NBA), served as a co-owner of 2929 Entertainment, and played a significant role as one of the main "sharks" on the ABC reality series, Shark Tank.

Mark Cuban attending high school for his senior year, enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Pittsburgh, where he joined the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. After one year at the University of Pittsburgh, Cuban transferred to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he graduated from the Kelley School of Business in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in management.
Opting for Indiana's Kelley School of Business without visiting the campus, he based his decision on its affordability, as it had the least expensive tuition among the top 10 business schools. Throughout his college years, he engaged in diverse business ventures, including a bar, disco lessons, and a chain letter.
Upon completing his education, Cuban returned to Pittsburgh and secured a position at Mellon Bank. During this time, he delved into the exploration of machines and networking.

In September 2002, Mark Cuban married Tiffany Stewart in a private ceremony in Barbados. They have two daughters, whose was born in 2003 and 2006, and a son, born in 2009.
They live in a 24,000-square-foot mansion in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas, Texas. Cuban is a vegetarian. He is a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League.
