Justin Pierre James Trudeau, professionally known as Justin Trudeau is a Canadian politician who has been serving as the 23rd prime minister of Canada since 2015 and the leader of the Liberal Party since 2013. He was born on December 25, 1971, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Justin Trudeau was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. He graduated from McGill University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature, then in 1998 acquired a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. After graduating, he taught at the secondary school level in Vancouver, before relocating back to Montreal in 2002 to further his studies.

Justin Trudeau first met Sophie Grégoire as children while growing up in Montreal, where Grégoire was a classmate and childhood friend of Trudeau's youngest brother, Michel. In June 2003, both reconnected when Grégoire was chosen to co-host a charity ball with Trudeau. A few months later, they began dating and they got engaged in October 2004 and married on May 28, 2005, in a ceremony at Montreal's Sainte-Madeleine d'Outremont Church.
