Tom Latham was born on 2 April 1992 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. He attended Christchurch Boys’ High School where he completed his primary schooling, after that, he enrolled at Cobham Intermediate School and earned higher education.
Tom Latham made his ODI series debut on 3 February 2012 in the New Zealand International cricket team against Zimbabwe. Later the same year, he also was named to the Twenty20 International (T20I) squad in the West Indies. Finally, on 30 June 2012, he first played the T20I series against West Indies.
