The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the certification that students in the Australian state of Victoria as well as in some international schools in China, Malaysia, Philippines, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam receive after completing years 11 and 12 of secondary school.
Victorian Certificate of Education Examination Criteria
- In 1987, The VCE was established as a pilot project which was earlier known as the Higher School Certificate (HSC) abolished in 1992.
- VCE study is usually completed over two years but can be spread over a longer period in some cases.
- Courses can include English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Business and Economics, Design and Technologies, Digital technologies, Health and Physical Education, and Cross-curriculum.
