Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, professionally known as Salman Khan, is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife, Sushila Charak, who later adopted the name Salma. He is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality, primarily working in Hindi cinema.
Salman Khan completed his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, where his younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail also studied. Before that, he spent a few years at The Scindia School in Gwalior with his younger brother Arbaaz. He later enrolled at St. Xavier's College in Mumbai but dropped out.
